How does wash and fold work?
Wash and fold is exactly what it says! Your clothes are laundered, dried and folded, packed neatly in bags for you to add to your cupboard.
Loads are cleaned per bag, unless specified. So, if you provide two bags of laundry, all your clothes will be washed in the same cycle (or two, depending on the size of the washer) and your clothes won’t be separated.
Most cleaners charge an additional fee for separate colours, and that’s because each colour is a wash cycle and considered one wash. The price for laundry is charged per kg.
Does wash and fold include ironing?
No, wash and fold includes: Laundry, Drying, Folding and Packing. If you need laundry and ironing, then each item is priced separately and is usually the same price as dry cleaning the items.
Wash and fold is the most affordable cleaning service, however adding ironing onto the service drastically increases the price for your order.
If you have two bags of laundry, but you wanted the shirts to be cleaned and ironed, the shirts are removed from the laundry weight total and charged separately.

Is there a machine that folds laundry?
Yes, there is a machine that folds laundry but it’s not what you think! It’s a gigantic machine that you feed items into, which is then programmed to fold the items according to a mathematical measurement. It’s best used when you have the same size of item (for example, lots of hand towels). Five Elms Dry Cleaners folds all laundry the good old fashioned way - by hand!
